Summary of Position:
Mix and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages on guest request.
Take food orders in a friendly, and timely manner.
Verify all guest identification for proof of age.
Serve on a as needed basis.
Greet guests with a smile.
Mix, garnish and serve drink orders, using standard recipes.
Practice responsible alcohol service:
monitor alcohol consumption and age requirements.
Operate cash POS System.
Accept payment and provide change.
Presents menu, upsells, and suggests menu items, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars.
Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
Assists in the service of food and beverage to tables, pre-bussing functions.
Request stock and check bar to monitor stock levels.
Maintain cleanliness of bar, station, and guest areas throughout the shift and at the end of the night.
Monitor equipment and beverage systems.
Relay any product/supplies shortages to Floor Manager.
Promotes upcoming and special events to guests.
Prepare bar top for next shift.
Use POS System, calculator, and common cleaning supplies.
Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Work from verbal and written instructions Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age to pour/serve alcohol Basset certification (or obtain within 30 days of being hired) Food Handler certification (or obtain within 30 days of being hired) Constantly be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Safety shoes Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Be able to work weekends and some weekday, 4pm-11pm shifts.
