Under the supervision of the Department Management Team, theDistribution Services Tech II will perform theirduties including a DST I duties as needed.
This includes operatinginventory programs and conducting calculationand replenishment of all hospital inventories and nursing unit suppliesin support of patient care for the hospital andmedical center departments.
The Tech II is responsible to distribute,collect, transport, repair, and clean patient useequipment.
The Tech is also responsible to deliver clean supplies andlinen in support of patient care as well as allother departments throughout the Medical CenterPosition
Responsibilities:
Responsibleforreplenishingsuppliesinanautomatedsupplycabinetaccurately.
Responsibleformedicalcentergascylindersupplyandcontrol.
Inventories,stocks,delivers,andreordersportablegascylindersforallpatientcareunitsandclinicaldepartmentsthroughoutthemedicalcenter,inclusiveofoutpatientfacilities.
2Cyclecountstheautomatedsupplycabinetsdailytoreflectaccuratecounts.
Deliversothercleansuppliesasneededperrequestsmadebydepartments.
Useshandhelddeviceforconductinginventoriesandforscanningofequipmentfortrackingpurposes.
Monitorsautomatedmachinecomputermonitortoensurecriticallowitemsarereplenishedpromptly.
